The setting
Alongside the Car Connect app, Porsche wanted a second surface. One that wasn’t only about interacting with the car, but about the relationship around it: the brand, the dealer, the community. I joined at kickoff and stayed with the app for two years through launch and beyond.
Long engagements at premium brands are not given out lightly. They are kept because someone trusts the calls being made week after week.
Note: In 2021 the My Porsche Essentials app was merged with the Connect and Car Connect apps into today’s “My Porsche” app. The original My Porsche Essentials is therefore no longer available on the App Store.
